The long drive to the Lake District and although the house were anguished cries of 'I can't get it all in the bag!'
You see as we are travelling 4 adults plus on small dog in a mini clubman we have to be careful about how much we take. Thank goodness for Merino is all I can say, it packs small, doesn't smell even if you wear it all week and so you don't need a lot.
I've managed to pack my clothes OK but it's the toiletries et al that seem to be causing problems - the First Aid kit, the Compeeds, the icepack...argh! It will all go in eventually but I may have to reduce the number of items a bit, hey don't start thinking make up, I've only packed lip gloss and mascara!
My right knee is still a bit sore - not sure if it's the knee cap again or if it's actually the calf or hamstring that is stopping my leg from straightening. Seems to abate with a bit of Ibu gel on the back of the knee or maybe it's the manipulation whilst applying it? Oh well we'll just have to see how it goes and hope.
